79 year old Elizabeth Hardy is dead after a violent crash on the 10 freeway in Cabazon.
Officials say she was headed westbound past Haugen-Lehman Way around 9:20am on Tuesday, October 30 when she lost control. Her vehicle struck the guardrail, flipped over and skidded across the road.
Hardy was wearing a seat belt and was not ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:44am.
CHP continues to investigate the crash.
