Update 4:33pm
All lanes are now open on the PCH near Topanga Cyn. The accident investigation has wrapped up.
It turns out a vehicle headed southbound crossed in to the northbound lanes, struck a car and then that car crashed in to another car.
One person was killed as a result.

Pacific Coast Hwy remains closed between Topanga Cyn and Carbon Cyn for an accident investigation.
Police are being tight lipped about the details but we do know three cars were involved and it might be a fatal due to the length of closure.
CHP says lanes will be closed until sometime after 1pm.
