26 people are facing various charges after being arrested for street racing in Rancho Cucamonga on Sixth Street.
The San Bernardino Sun reports that they were spotted just after midnight just west of Etiwanda.
Two more races also took place while Sheriffs deputies were waiting for backup.
All but one person were booked in to jail. A teen girl was released to her parents.
Cops say many of the 17 towed vehicles had illegal modifications.
