Our friends at the Montage report the fire flared back up again but some aircraft came and drenched it.
One lane is still closed on PCH northbound and traffic remains jammed back to Crown Valley.
Update 2:18pm
PCH traffic remains jammed in Laguna Beach while crews fight a brush fire.
PCH north is down to one lane by the Montage and traffic is jammed from 9th Ave (near Crown Valley)
PCH SOUTH traffic is heavy from Upland with all lanes open.
The brush fire is about 3 acres and 150 firefighters are working to put it out.

Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH) is down to one lane near Nyes Place while crews battle a brush fire.
There are voluntary evacuations for residents in homes nearby.
PCH traffic north is slow from Mermaid. PCH south traffic is slow from Upland.
