The annual Golden Globe awards will be held on Sunday, January 15 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
While we don’t have the official closures yet, it will most likely be the same as last year so for now …
Santa Monica Blvd will be closed between Wilshire and Century Park East starting at 6am on Sunday, January 15 and reopen Monday, January 16 at 2am.
In addition, several Metro Bus routes will be detoured including 4, 704, and 16.
Line 4/704 eastbound will use the regular route to N. Santa Monica and Century Park West, then continue down S. Santa Monica Blvd (Local Access) to Roxbury, up Roxbury back to Santa Monica Blvd.
Line 4/704 westbound will use the regular route along N. Santa Monica Blvd to Camden, then head left on Bedford to S. Santa Monica Blvd back to N. Santa Monica Blvd.
Line 16 eastbound will use the regular route to N. Santa Monica Blvd and Ave of the Stars. Then it will branch off to S. Santa Monica Blvd, go left at Roxbury and back to N. Santa Monica and the regular route.
Line 16 westbound will take the regular route along N. Santa Monica to Camden, then go left on Bedford to S. Santa Monica and back to N. Santa Monica.
