210 WEST CLOSED AT WATERMAN DUE TO JUMPER IN SAN BERNARDINO

We’re getting more info this morning on the jumper that closed the 210 freeway in San Bernardino on Friday, December 17.

The San Bernardino Sun is reporting that it was a 16 year old boy that was distraught over the breakup wih his girlfriend.   

Cops laid down a bag on the freeway in case he jumped.

Eventually police were able to talk the boy down and he was taken to the hospital for mental evaluation.

The freeway was shut down for about 45 minutes.

210 WEST remains closed at Waterman while police deal with a jumper up ahead at Mountain View (near the 215 freeway)

CHP is not releasing any details.

210 WEST traffic is stopped from Highland Ave.
