Police have just announced that a female passenger in the Range Rover was killed in the crash.
It was 1 a.m. this morning when two Inglewood police officers were involved in a shooting with two armed gunmen at the 600 block of West Venice Way near Victor Avenue. Both suspects, in their 20s, were taken to the hospital. However, this is not where the fatality occurred.
Two more police cruisers were on their way to the officer-involved-shooting injured when one cruiser crashed into a light pole and the second into an oncoming Range Rover. This happened on Manchester Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, just outside the Forum and about a mile away from the original shooting report.
Inglewood Police have remained quiet this morning on the events at the scene, only to confirm there is one fatality – but it is unknown if it was a pedestrian or the passenger in the Range Rover. According to NBC LA, The LA County Coroner arrived around 5 a.m. to remove the body from the scene. Conditions of the driver and the officers involved in the double-crash are unknown.
