Update 9:45
The right lane is now open on the 101 NORTH (101 WEST) at Winnetka. All other lanes of the 101 freeway in Woodland Hills remain closed for the coroner to investigate a fatal accident. Caltrans has set up a “hard closure,” which means signs, trucks and barricades are out there. This could take a while.

OTHER STORIES OF INTEREST:
It took me over an hour to go 1 ½ miles when I was stuck in the traffic this morning. Sad the man passed away though, I did see the coroner van going to the scene using the right shoulder; followed by a few regular drivers trying to get a head of the crowd :/
I am thinking of this person or persons family .
